At BOHNS Best Burgers, we’re on a mission to serve bold, flavour packed gourmet burgers in a relaxed, welcoming setting. Born from a passion for BBQ and perfected through years of experimentation, our burgers are built on one simple principle: flavour first, always.
Our Story
The BOHNS journey began in 2011, when one of our founders worked in a BBQ style restaurant in Canada. Inspired by the bold flavours and smoked spices of North American barbecue, he returned home to the UK and began crafting his own dry rubs and seasoning blends. What started as a small retail venture in 2015 - BOHNS Rubs and Spices - quickly grew into something much bigger.
By 2016, we launched a weekly burger pop-up in a Derby pub, showcasing our homemade rubs and the kind of next-level burger flavour we believed was missing from the local scene. The response was phenomenal. In 2017, we secured a spot in a food hall concept in Derby, and just a year later, we took a major leap forward - opening our very first standalone restaurant in Nottingham in October 2018. Fast forward seven years, and we’ve expanded to a second location in Edwinstowe, which opened in 2025.

BOHNS Best Burgers was Founded by brothers Thomas and Oliver Bohn and their two close friends Jeff and Sabi, whose shared obsession with quality ingredients, house-made rubs and gourmet burger craft turned into a full-blown burger revolution.We’re proud to still use our original spice blends in every bite, and we stay true to our roots- serving up high-quality food in a casual, no-fuss environment.
